There are numerous types of personality disorders that people suffer from. Almost all of these disorders have one thing in common, the person who has the disorder will become paranoid and have fears that are not based in reality.

The person that becomes paranoid and fearful of their everyday life and this will effect their work, family, and social life. They may believe a spouse or partner is cheating when they have no justification. They may believe their coworkers are talking about them when they aren't. The person may go into a store and think everyone is looking at them and may even believe they are being followed.
