Answer:

For sediments to be converted into rocks, initially a rock body or a source rock must be weathered as a result of which these broken materials are produced. This broken rock fragments are then transported from one place to another by the agents such as wind, water and ice. This materials are deposited at a different place where they are subjected to compaction and lithification, resulting in the formation of a clastic sedimentary rock.

The word 'clastic' refers to the broken rock fragments.

For example, shale, sandstone, conglomerate and breccia.

Cerebrospinal fluid circulates within the ventricles of the brain and in the subarachnoid space is called
mojhsa [17]

Answer:

Cerebrospinal fluid circulates within the ventricles of the brain and in the subarachnoid space is called Cerebrospinal fluid circulation

Explanation:

CSF is formed within the ventricles by small, delicate tufts of specialized tissue called the choroid plexus

the major pathway of CSF flow. Beginning in the lateral ventricles, CSF flows through two passageways into the third ventricle. From the third ventricle it flows down a long, narrow passageway (the aqueduct of Sylvius) into the fourth ventricle. From the fourth ventricle it passes through three small openings (foramina) into the subarachnoid space surrounding the brain and spinal cord

Two solutions will be prepared with the mixture of distilled water and stock solution of KMnO4 (10 mM). Give the correct volumes
Yanka [14]

Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

Recall that the law of dilution states that the number of moles before dilution must be equal to the number of moles after dilution.

Mathematically,

molarity x number of moles before dilution = molarity x number of moles after dilution.

For solution A: final molarity = 3 mM, final volume = 2mL, initial molarity of KMnO4 = 10 mM

Applying the equation:

    10 x initial volume = 3 x 2

        initial volume = 6/10 = 0.6

Hence, Tube A should be made with 0.6 mL of 10 mM KMnO4 stock and 1.4 mL of distilled water to give a solution of 2 mL 3 mM KMnO4.

For solution B:final molarity = 8 mM, final volume = 2 mL, initial molarity = 10 mM

    10 x initial volume = 8 x 2

       initial volume = 16/10 = 1.6

Hence, Tube B should be made with 1.6 mL of 10 mM KMnO4 stock and 0.4 mL of distilled water to give a solution of 2 mL 8mM KMnO4.
