Fossil fuels. These are burned by us humans and co2 is released into the atmosphere contributing to global warming which then causes the ice to melt causing the water sea levels to rise making it harder for animals such as polar bears to get food also because it’s harder for them to get food they will have to leave their children vulnerable to predators for longer.

Which best describes the concept of natural selection?
Reika [66]

Answer:

D.

Explanation:

Natural selection is the way that organisms adapt through adaptations to better survive and pass on the special genes which enable the offspring to survive. Saying an organism will always mutate to survive is wrong, as natural selection implies that not all organisms survive. With natural selection, nothing is "selected", so B and C are not correct. However, mutations DO make organisms "more fit" to survive their environments, so D is the answer.

Describe the rock cycle. Discuss what can happen to rock material within the
Gnom [1K]

Answer:

The rock cycle is a constant transformation of rocks between the three rock types of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. If the sediments are buried behind other layers of sediment, they can lithify and form sedimentary rock. When rocks melt, magma is formed. Rocks form deep below the Earth, move and sometimes change, rise to the surface, and eventually return to their original location.
