Answer:

Option B - $268.86

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Mr. and Mrs. Wallace have decided to buy a car for $21,600. They finance $15,000 of it with a 5-year auto loan at 2.9% ARP.

To find : What will be their monthly payment be?

Solution :

Formula of monthly payment

M=\frac{\text{Amount}}{\text{Discount factor}}

Discount factor D=\frac{1-(1+i)^{-n}}{i}

Where, Amount = $15,000

Rate r= 2.9%=0.029

i=\frac{0.029}{12}=0.002416

Time = 5 years

n=5\times12=60

Now, put all the values we get,

D=\frac{1-(1+i)^{-n}}{i}

D=\frac{1-(1+0.002416)^{-60}}{0.002416}

D=\frac{1-(1.002416)^{-60}}{0.002416}

D=\frac{1-0.8652}{0.002416}

D=\frac{0.1348}{0.002416}

D=55.79

Monthly payment, M=\frac{\text{Amount}}{\text{Discount factor}}

M=\frac{15000}{55.79}

M=268.86

Therefore, Option B is correct.

The monthly payment is $268.86.

Write Equivalent Fractions
Viktor [21]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Find equivalent fractions. Enter a fraction, mixed number or integer to get fractions that are equivalent to your input. Example entries:

Fraction - like 2/3 or 15/16

Mixed number - like 1 1/2 or 4 5/6

Integer - like 5 or 28

What are Equivalent Fractions?

Equivalent fractions are fractions with different numbers representing the same part of a whole. They have different numerators and denominators, but their fractional values are the same.

For example, think about the fraction 1/2. It means half of something. You can also say that 6/12 is half, and that 50/100 is half. They represent the same part of the whole. These equivalent fractions contain different numbers but they mean the same thing: 1/2 = 6/12 = 50/100

How to Find Equivalent Fractions

Multiply both the numerator and denominator of a fraction by the same whole number. As long as you multiply both top and bottom of the fraction by the same number, you won't change the value of the fraction, and you'll create an equivalent fraction.

Example Equivalent Fractions

Find fractions equivalent to 3/4 by multiplying the numerator and denominator by the same whole number:

34×22=68

34×33=912

34×44=1216

34×55=1520

34×66=1824

Therefore these are all equivalent fractions:

34=68=912=1520=1824

Note that if you reduce all of these fractions to lowest terms, they equal 3/4.

A 30 inch board is to be cut into three pieces? a 30 inch board is to be cut into three pieces so that the second piece is 4 tim
Ostrovityanka [42]
Total length of the board = 30 inch

Length of,

-- First piece = x

-- Second piece = 4x

-- Third piece = 5x

5x + 4x + x = 30

10x = 30

x = 3

Therefore, the lengths of:

-- First piece = 3 inch

-- Second piece = 4*3 = 12 inch

-- Third piece = 5*3 = 15 inch
