In many cases women are still expected to do it all. They are expected to take on the role of mother, domestic keeper, and career woman. In some cases there are not equal opportunities for women. The career ladder women are forced to climb is not always equal to that of their male counterparts. However, as we have seen in women such as Margaret Thatcher and Indra Nooyi, many women are able to overcome these challenges.

what led to the development of the colonization movement in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century?
Umnica [9.8K]
The migration of African Americans to other lands in search of freedom during the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries was an expression of their belief that they would never achieve a position of true equality in the United States. The only solution to this problem, they felt, was to establish separate, self-governing societies or nations. Though migrants found their way to Canada, Haiti, the West Indies, and Mexico, Africa was, most often, the refuge of choice. Emigration and colonization were controversial within the African-American community, and some of the consequences of these migrations were negative for the receiving populations.

One criticism of the two-party system is that it prohibits third parties from having a real chance in being represented.
k0ka [10]
True. In a three-party or open party system, all parties can be represented, but in a two-party system, it is almost impossible for third parties to be represented.
