You need to  find the perimeter of the triangle which you need to find the length of  each side.  We are given one  side length already 19 cm. We are also given 10 cm which is half of one side length. Due to the small vertical lines on the base line we know the triangle is symmetrical and we are told that the base line is cut in half making 2 equal right triangles. We are given the hypotenuse of both right triangles which is 19 cm.
The perimeter of the triangle is 19+19+10+10
The perimeter is 58 cm

Rachel is using grouping to find the factors of a quadratic expression. She has reached the step shown below. Determine the fact
Feliz [49]

Answer: First option is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

If the factored form is given by

(3x-4)(x+2)

Then its standard form will be given by

(3x-4)(x+2)\\\\=3x^2+6x-4x+8\\\\=3x^2+2x+8

if factored form is given by

(3x+2)(x+4)

Then its standard form will be given by

(3x+2)(x+4)\\\\=3x^2+12x+2x+8\\\\=3x^2+14x+8

Hence, only first option is correct.

F(x)=x^2+9x-16<br><br><br> What is vertex <br><br> Axis of semetry
UNO [17]

Answer:

axis of symmetry is x=\frac{-9}{2}.

The ordered pair of the vertex is (\frac{-9}{2},\frac{-145}{4}).

Step-by-step explanation:

Your function is a quadratic.

Compare x^2+9x-16 to ax^2+bx+c.

You should see that a=1,b=9,c=-16.

The x-coordinate of the vertex or the axis of symmetry since the axis symmetry goes through the vertex can be found by computing \frac{-b}{2a}.

So here we go!

The axis of symmetry is x=\frac{-9}{2(1)}=\frac{-9}{2}.

When you write your axis of symmetry be sure to write it as an equation.

That is the axis of symmetry is x=\frac{-9}{2}.

Now that was also the x-coordinate of your vertex.  To find the corresponding y-coordinate of the vertex, plug your value for x into

y=x^2+9x-16.

y=(\frac{-9}{2})^2+9(\frac{-9}{2})-16

Put into calculator:

y=\frac{-145}{4} when x=\frac{-9}{2}

The ordered pair of the vertex is (\frac{-9}{2},\frac{-145}{4}).
