Apgar stands for the five basic parameters checked during this assessment:

  • A: Activity level or muscle tone
  • P: Pulse or heart rate
  • G: Grimace or response to stimulit or reflex irritability

  • R: Respiratory or breathing rate

These parameters are scored on three points 0, 1, and 2

Apgar score indications:

From 0 to 3 indicates critically low condition

From 4 to 6 indicates a below normal condition

A major function of the human urinary bladder is
ioda
The answer is A, storing urine until it is eliminated.

The bladder stores urine, allowing urination to be infrequent and controlled. The bladder is lined by layers of muscle tissue that stretch to hold urine. The normal capacity of the bladder is 400-600 mL. During urination, the bladder muscles squeeze, and two sphincters (valves) open to allow urine to flow out.
