Answer:

Chicago Public Schools is a huge system educating more than 400,000 students a year. During the 1990s a new concept of “high-stakes” testing was being debated in the US educational system. The testing was called high-stakes because instead of only testing the students on their progress, schools are held accountable for the results. The Chicago Public School system embraced high-stakes testing in 1996. Under the new policy, a school with low reading scores would be placed on probation and face the threat of being shut down, its staff to be dismissed or reassigned. The CPS also did away with what is known as social promotion. In the past, only a dramatically inept or difficult student was held back a grade. Now, in order to be promoted, every student in third, sixth, and eighth grade had to manage a minimum score on the standardized, multiple-choice exam known as the Iowa Test of Basic Skills.

const2013 [10]
The main result was that a lot of people who were not wealthy lost the land that they had and only had the option to be hired as agricultural workers on someone else's land or they could work in the cottage industry. Many of these people actually became factory laborers which was one of the goals of the government too.

Marking as brainliest last attempt
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

There are two types of bullying, cyber bullying and physical bullying. When you cyber bully someone you verbally assault them online, typically in a game. When you physically bully someone, you are humiliating or even possibly hurting them. People normally shrug cyber bullying aside, knowing that they can't really hurt you, but their hurtful words can have an impact on your emotional state. Being physically bullied can cause your body pain if they hurt you, but being humiliated can make you stress about what everyone thinks about it.

Which were significant events that helped the Allies win the war in Europe? Check all that apply.
Aloiza [94]

The events that helped the Allies win the war in Europe were:

-the Nazi defeat at Stalingrad

The Battle of Stalingrad was a combat between the Red Army of the Soviet Union and the Wehrmacht of Nazi Germany and its allies for the control of the Soviet city of Stalingrad, current Volgograd, between August 23, 1942 and February 2, 1943. The battle took place in the course of the German invasion of the Soviet Union, in the framework of World War II. The serious defeat of Nazi Germany and its allies in this city meant a key point of severe inflection in the final results of the war and represents the beginning of the end of Nazism in Europe, as the Wehrmacht would never regain its previous strength nor would obtain more strategic victories in the Eastern Front.

-the North African campaign

The North African Campaign was the second most important front during the Second World War, after the Eastern Front. It took place in the desert of North Africa, from June 10, 1940 and until May 16, 1943.

Having the Axis forces fighting on a second front in North Africa, the Western Allies helped in some way the Soviet Union, which was fighting against the Axis on the Eastern Front.
