Answer:

A representative democracy is a form of government in which citizens have a voice in the government by electing representatives who speak for them.

Explanation:

Representative democracy is the name for a socio-political system of a democratic type in which power is created by elections in which citizens elect their representatives, who then make decisions on their behalf.

There are various forms of representative democracy in the world that differ as to whether the head of state is a hereditary monarch or an elected president, or whether the executive is subordinate to the assembly (as in the parliamentary system), or there is a clear division of power (as in the so-called presidential republics like the United States).

Explain how natural selection can lead to evolution?
bazaltina [42]

Answer:

Natural selection is when the higher, more sophisticated animals of a species survive and the less intelligent, less physically adapt, and ones with other disadvantages die off. Thinking about this logically, if natural selection is slowly making the animals that previously were disadvantaged die off, the gene pool will be filled with more advanced and "better" genes. As these survival genes becomes more and more popular, the animals that have them will be the ones that are mated with, making the new generations also have these needed genes to survive. As this process continues to repeat itself throughout time, evolution will occur and the species will become more advanced. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions! :)
