Dive and five are a pair of eye rhymes?

English

It is false that dive and five are a pair of eye rhymes.
Eye rhymes refers to words which are written similarly, but have different pronunciations. For example, love and move - as you can see, their spelling differs only in one letter, but their pronunciation is not similar at all. This is not the case in dive and five - they are both written and pronounced similarly.

Humanity's early fire-starting tools may have been dangerous because in the text is says, "It could be lighted only by hard rubbing, and it sputtered and threw fire in all directions." This is dangerous because it would spew fire in all directions and if you think about it, the fire would hit something and then that thing would catch on fire. Lets say you were using the match inside your house. When you strike the match, a spark flies onto the wood floor and your house goes up in flames and you are stuck inside the house with no exit or escape. This may or may not happen, but because of the fire not being contained, there was a chance that you would be harmed.

Are the words ‘savage’ and ‘lurking’ positive or negative? How do you know? What is the tone?
sveta [45]

Answer & Explanation:

Well, it's kinda tough to explain, savage can be used positively as well as negativley used. When applied to villains, for example, or wild killing animals, it can mean cruel, aggressive, or vicious. Here it is very negative. As a noun, a savage means " a person who is regarded as primitive and uncivilized, or mean and ruthless”, and is thus very offensive. It could also mean rebel, badass, or agitator in a positive tone. However, lurking is used negatively, lurking is also called orbiting, and is generally looked upon as creepy. the word "lurking" has increasingly taken on a negative tone, implying one is being nosy or spying, kinda a form of eavesdropping.

I hope this has somwhat helped you!! :)

How did our society remember events and attempts to prevent future tragedies through developing awareness in the form of monumen
loris [4]

Answer:

Our society made bad moments in human history eternalized through monuments, literature, holidays, among others, so that everyone remembered that these moments should not happen again.

Explanation:

As you may already know, there are many moments in human history that were disgraceful, shameful and cruel, like the Holocaust, for example. As these moments tell a disgusting story full of pain and suffering, it is common for people to want to forget them. However, it is essential, for the good of humanity, that these moments are not forgotten. This is because the memory of them, prevents them from happening again. That is why, in order to eternalize them, human beings create monuments, museums, holidays, works of literature, among other elements that prevent humanity from forgetting what it has already done.
