1. DELTAS.
In geography, deltas refers to broad, triangular shaped land area that are located at the mouth of the rivers. A delta is usually formed from deposition of sediments that are carried by a river as the water flow exit its mouth and enter slow moving water bodies. Deltas are considered to be dynamic in nature as they change regular depending on the prevailing situations such as erosion, flood and storm.
2. CONVERGENCE.
A river convergence refers to the point where two river meet and join together. When two rivers converge, there is usually an increase in the flow of their current and the water bodies become larger. When more than two rivers meet at a point and join together to form a channel, it is described as confluence.
3. ARABLE;
Arable lands are lands that are suitable for farming, such lands can easily be ploughed and used to grow varieties of crops. Arable lands that are close to water bodies are especially good for raising crops that requires huge amount of water for survival and growth.

Hydroelectric power refer to electric power that is generated through the usage of water. Hydro means water. Hydroelectric power is usually derived from the energy supplied by falling water or fast running water. Hydroelectricity is a cheaper mean of generating power compare to other method. 
5. DIVERTED.
Water diversion involves the redirecting of a water source away from its original direction by means of canals, dams, pipes etc. Water diversion can be temporary or permanent. Water diversion can affect the surrounding habitats negatively.
