The Declaration of Independence is one of the most famous documents of the world and one of the most important documents in the US. The Declaration explained the many reasons why the Colonies were breaking away from Britain, the document lists the many reasons why Britain had let the Colonies down and hurt the Colonies rights. Also, the Declaration of Independence contains a theory of the American government saying that: “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

The Constitution is also a very important document for the world and the US. First, because it created the Federalism that is a way of political organization that did not exist before and has been used by many countries since then. Also, the US Constitution lists the philosophy of natural rights and liberty that the Founding Fathers embraced.
