Hello,

The answer is option B "<span>The Senate and House of Representatives pass a law making Christianity the official religion of the United States".

Reason:

The first amendment protects the freedom to speech, petition, assembly, and religion. Therefore the answer is B because the first Amendment has the freedom of religion which means citizens can have any religion not being specific. Its not option A because thats the freedom to religion. Its not option C because the right to religion, and speech. Its also not option D because thats the freedom to assembly and religion!

Why do you think Kennedy lost popularity for supporting civil rights?
Andreas93 [3]
If we're talking about John F. Kennedy here, judging by the fact that he was assassinated on the year 1963, the same year Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. started his peaceful protests and the bus boycott. Hence why other racist people resented him, also the reason why he was assassinated by a white racist male named Lee Harvey Oswald, who resented black people.

(None of this was meant to be racist btw)
