In order to use a graph to write an equation, you first need to have plot points. Pick 2 points on the line if there isn't already any on the graph. After you find two points, find the slope. (Formula: y = mx + b) After you solve the slope, try finding the y-intercept. (Meaning: when x = 0, solve for y) The y-coordinate when you solve it is the value of "b" in the equation. (REMEMBER: y = mx + b) If you have any questions about the formula or the directions, remember to ask! Cheers, mimiisawesome5

No matter which natural number "n" that you choose, explain why the following statement can never be true:
maria [59]
First of all, 2^n and 3^n are exponentials with different bases, and thus their sum cannot be simplified beyond 2^n + 3^n.  In other words, these two functions cannot be combined ino one function (such as 4^n).

You may gain much more insight by graphing 2^n, 3^n and 4^n to determine whether there is truth in the given statement or not.

A jump suit costs 125 dollars.The rate of the discount is 20 percent.What is the discount
almond37 [142]
10% of $125 is $12.50.

Now 20%=2*10%.

So 20% of $125 is $25.

If you were to receive a 20% discount, you'd only have to pay $100 to bag the jump suit.

The following random sample from a population whose values were normally distributed was collected.10 8 11 11The 95% confidence
Margaret [11]

Answer:

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

First to find the sample mean

Xbar= summation x/n= 40/4= 10

The sample standard deviation is:

S= √summation(x-xbar)²/ n-1

=√6/3= 1.4142

The degrees of freedom

df= N-1= 4-1= 3

For 95% confidence level, critical value of t

t= 3.182

The 95% confidence interval is:

=Xbar plus or minus t' *8/√n

= 10 plus or minus 3.182(1.4142/√4)

= 10plus or minus 2.25

So 7.75 or 12.25
