Oklahoma history <br> Please help
ki77a [65]

Answer:

The United States' actions towards the Native Americans are definitely a negative trait of our country. U.S. policies from the beginning of our nation and even today have put aside the needs of Native Americans for "more pressing matters." Hypocritical polices, the notion that all men are created equal but the underlying fact that "all men" meant "all white men." So, the U.S. decisions towards Native Americans define our country not only in the specific time period in which Native Americans were prominent in Oklahoma, but even today when Native Americans are almost extinct.

As for Jackson, He was not only a great general but a politician. As any politician who would have to pander to an audience. When it is convenient to be the "conqueror of Indians" to gain popularity and convenient to be there friends, also to gain popularity. Either way I am sure he cared very little for the native Americans.

Explanation:

Oklahoma, known for Native American culture and heritage, however some if not most of that culture was migrated there by the U.S. government, under Jackson himself. That is how he is connected to the United States' treatment of Native Americans.
