Answer:

Explanation: I think it was a good idea that the U.S. payed artist to make works of art. The art pieces that the artist's made could be used to help people cope with the depression and possibly remember the good days, and give them hope that the good says will soon return. They really could have been a help to some people.

However, on the other hand, it cost money to pay artist to create works of art. The government didn't have a whole lot of money to spend on things they didn't need. But, in the end, I believe it paid off and was a good decision.
