Answer:

  Knights were professional warriors.

Explanation:

They were called this way after being granted with the title of knighthood by a monarch or a bishop for services to them, especially in a military capacity.

It was conferred to mounted warriors and was considered as a class of lower nobility. They served to a lord and got paid with land holdings.

By the end of the medieval age, the new methods of warfare made the knights obsolete for the battlefield, but the title stills remain to these days as a recognition to the achievement of somebody.

I hope this answer helps you.

Chad buys peanuts in 2 pound bags. he replackages them into bags that hold 5/6 pound of peanuts. how many 2-pound bags of peanut
cricket20 [7]
First we must find the number of bags that hold 5/6 pound and that number multiplied by 5/6 must be a whole number. For example: 5/6 * 6 = 5. Also that number must be divisible by 2 ( because we have 2 pound bags of peanuts to replace ). Therefore: 5/6 * 12 = 10 pounds.
10 : 2 = 5 bags.
Answer: Chad should buy 5 ( five ) 2-pound bags of peanuts so that he can fill the 5/6-pound bags without having any peanuts left over.

At Gatsby's party, what seems to "start" the guests deciding it is time to leave?
Arte-miy333 [17]

The answer is C.

From this excerpt taken from Chapter 3 of The Great Gatsby: "<em>At two o’clock in the morning, </em><em><u>as husbands and wives argue over whether to leave</u></em><em>, a butler tells Jordan that Gatsby would like to see her.</em>", we may conclude that this was the 'sign' that implies the moment from which the guests started to consider leaving the party, including the main characters at hand (Nick and Jordan), as their leaving is depicted in the outcome of the mentioned excerpt:

''<em>Nick says goodbye to Gatsby, who goes inside to take a phone call from Philadelphia. Nick starts to walk home.</em>"
