My schedule.

During a typical weekday, I usually wake up at 6:00 to get ready to go to school. Have a quick breakfast and my father takes me to school. After my activities at school, I get back home at about 2:30 in the afternoon. My parents ask me to immediately do homework so I can go to the public park to train track and field. So homework takes me about two hours and training another two. Then I have dinner with my parents. After dinner, my mom allows me to play some games or watch  TV. Before going to bed I take a shower and I am ready to go to bed.

Compare and contrast the Greek and Roman civil war.
LenKa [72]

Answer:

The cities in Ancient Greece were separated by hilly countryside. All the cities were near to water bodies. Rome was an inland country and situated on the banks of River Tiber. Greek art was considered to be superior to that of Roman Art.

The main similarities between Greek and Roman political structures were that both empires were made up of several city-states, both believed that the citizens needed to actively participate in politics and military service, and both favored aristocratic rule.

12. The limited role that the federal government had with the states was ended by?
Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

The correct answer is C. The limited role that the federal government had with the states was ended by Franklin Roosevelt and his New Deal.

Explanation:

The New Deal was the government program implemented by President Roosevelt from the beginning of his term in 1933, until his death in 1945. The President believed that the only way to get out of the Great Depression effectively was through the implementation of Keynesian economic policies, that is, through the active participation of the federal government in the economy.

Thus, from the beginning of his government, Roosevelt began to carry out government programs of various kinds, all aimed at the same objective of redirecting the economy on a path of growth, creating jobs and investment that energizes the economy and provides well-being to citizens. For this reason, programs such as the Work Progress Administration, the Social Security Act or the Tennessee Valley Authority, which through public investment sought to achieve these objectives, were the perfect example of a new trend through which the federal government would begin to participate much more actively in the economy.

How did the United States respond to the Soviet blockade of West Berlin in 1948?
svp [43]

Answer:

The United States sent huge airdrops of supplies like food, water, and medicine to the citizens of the besieged city. The US and Truman, the current president at the time, did not want to start a war but still felt as though they needed to help. So, they sent as many supplies to the city and their allies as they could. The airdrop was an extreme success, not only giving supplies out but also showing Russia the technological superiority of the United States.
