Im gonna take an educated guess on this. for the first part only one element has an outershell filled completely. but if they want two elements put chlorine. to lose electrons is probably helium to gain is magnesium. and the last one is lithium and helium because they're small and don't have allot of atomic mass

We want to have a survey and ask people working for IT companies if they prefer Skype to mobile phones for making calls. We want
weqwewe [10]

Answer:

For this case we want to test if in IT companies more than 20% of employees prefer to use Skype rather than a mobile phone (alternative hypothesis) and the complement would be the the null hypothesis. So then the system of hypothesis are:

Null hypothesis: p =0.2

Alternative hypothesis: p >0.2

And for this case we should use a righ tail test based on the alternative hypothesis.

Step-by-step explanation:

Previous concepts

A hypothesis is defined as "a speculation or theory based on insufficient evidence that lends itself to further testing and experimentation. With further testing, a hypothesis can usually be proven true or false".

The null hypothesis is defined as "a hypothesis that says there is no statistical significance between the two variables in the hypothesis. It is the hypothesis that the researcher is trying to disprove".

The alternative hypothesis is "just the inverse, or opposite, of the null hypothesis. It is the hypothesis that researcher is trying to prove".

Solution to the problem

For this case we want to test if in IT companies more than 20% of employees prefer to use Skype rather than a mobile phone (alternative hypothesis) and the complement would be the the null hypothesis. So then the system of hypothesis are:

Null hypothesis: p =0.2

Alternative hypothesis: p >0.2

And for this case we should use a righ tail test based on the alternative hypothesis.

barxatty [35]
Hello! To solve this problem, we can write and solve an equation. Set it up like this:

6 + 3m = 24

This is because 6 is the one-time fixed price and you pay $3 per mile. Subtract 6 from both sides in order to get 3m = 18. Now, divide each side by 3 to isolate the “m”. 18/3 is 6. There. m = 6. Mike traveled 6 miles by taxi.

a soccer team won 6 games out 10 total game if they played 25 total games how many games did they win
Lana71 [14]
Okay, so if with 10 games, they win 6, they would win 12 with 20. To find the 5, you would find half of 6 (since half of 10 is 5). Half of 6 is three. 3 plus 12 is 15. They would win 15 games.
