There is a toddler and he is uncomfortable because the toddler is sitting in the movie theatre but perhaps he is unhappy :)

It is true that pretest may allow you to be exempt from certain assignments.
I personally am not 100% sure but my guess would be SAID as it is the only word showing an action.
