Roads.. body temperature dropping.. and food shortages due to roads being nasty.<span />

1.  You could injure someone or yourself if you're driving during a storm.

2.  You can die of frostbite, or hypothermia, if you are outside during a winter storm for too long.

3.  You can get locked inside of your house by getting snowed in.  (Its happened to me before)

Clouds can cover up the sun, which is the natural source for heat everywhere. When the sun is not in sight, or thickly covered by clouds, this limits the suns radiation and heat waves therefore causing less light and heat.

Why was ironmaking an important technology for the Hittites?

Explanation: Well, before they had iron they used bronze. Bronze is harder and heavier than iron. So when they would try to forge it it would take an extended amount of time. The use of iron weapons, which remained unique to the Hittites, helped create successful military campaigns. Since iron was much easier to use it soon became the main material for forging.
