Answer:

Many of the foundations of classical Greek culture emerged during the time when there were no written records.

Explanation:

The term "Classical Greece" refers to the period that spans from the 5th century to the 4th century BC in which the European nation was not only involved in wars and conflicts but also in which its political, cultural and philosophical areas greatly flourished, and set the foundations for the future. During the "Classical Greece" period, the Greek culture emerged with revolutionary concepts regarding to government organization, philosophy and ethics. All of these foundations that would make Greek one of the most important civilizations in modern history occurred during a time were there were no written records, and where the moral and cultural leaders gave their lectures and declarations orally for everyone to hear. These started to change as more developments began to happen and the leaders such as philosophers and authors began to make their students take notes and write records of their words.
