Answer:

✔✔ ANSWER ✔✔

✔✔ 4.Mutations to gametes can be passed on to an organism's offspring.

Mutations in somatic cells are called somatic mutations. Because they do not occur in cells that give rise to gametes, the mutation is not passed along to the next generation by sexual means. To maintain this mutation, the individual containing the mutation must be cloned.

What anastamosis is maintaining blood supply to the brain and by what routes?

●Collateral Circulation

●Collateral Willis

Explanation:

Atherosclerosisis affects arterial blood vessels by causing a thickening of the arteries by multiple plaques within the arteries.

Collateral Circulation best shows why there was adequate and necessary blood flow to the brain.

In Collateral Circulation closed smaller arteries links and connect to two bigger arteries or certain points of the same artery acting as another way of blood supply.

Collateral vessels are often closed but in people with coronary heart disease or stroke, it will expand and increase.

Note: there is something called collateral Willis referring to the choice of it remain close in some people and being open in some people.

Chromosomal mutations can have a variety of effects on individuals. Down syndrome is a disorder that causes problems such as mil
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

The correct answer would be non-disjunction.

Down syndrome refers to the genetic disease caused by the non-disjunction of chromosome number 21.

Non-disjunction refers to the event in which the homologous chromosomes or sister chromatids fail to separate properly during a cell division.

In Down syndrome, the sister chromatids of chromosome 21 fail to separate properly which results in the formation of a gamete with 2 copies of chromosome 21.

When this gamete fertilizes with another gamete, it results in the formation of a zygote with 47 chromosomes, that is, 46 chromosomes + extra copy of chromosome 21.

Any time a scientific theory is challenged, it means it's not a good theory.Do you agree with this statement? Explain
vfiekz [6]
False. Any time a scientific theory is challenged, it means it's not a good theory. And this statement is not valid. In theoretical models, they are revisited when there are further studies and discoveries found in a certain area where they can be remodeled and reintegrated instead of disregarding its credibility. Models, theories and paradigms are not challenged but rather encouraged, they are supported in many studies since these theories and models were created in order for us to understand a certain phenomenon but it would likely help the scientific society to be updated in the new forms or spheres of improvement rather than discouragement.
