Most of the required information's are already given in the question. Using those information's the answer can be easily deduced.
Amount of water leaked by the faucet in 8 minutes = 668 milliliters
Then
Amount of water leaked by the faucet in 1 minute = (668/8) ml
                                                                               = 83.5 ml
So we can see from the above deduction that the amount of water leaked by the faucet in 1 minute is 83.5 milliliters. There is nothing complicated about the problem except the calculation part. The division part of this problem has decimal number in the numerator and so care should be taken while dividing.

Ok first you have to divide 668 by 8 which is 83.5. so the answer could be ritten like this: 83.5 is how many milliilters of waterthe faucet leaks per hour.

3. If ‘A’ can finish a work in ‘n’ days then part of work finished in 1 day is: (a) 1 – n
zaharov [31]

Answer:

If ‘A’ can finish a work in ‘n’ days then part of work finished in 1 day

will be \frac{1}{n}.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question, it is clear that

  • If ‘A’ can finish a work in ‘n’ days, then
  • we have to determine the part of work finished in 1 day.

So

let 'n' be the number of days A takes to complete the whole work

Let the whole job be denoted as '1'

Thus, the part of work finished in 1 day will be:

                      \:\frac{Total\:work}{Time\:taken\:by\:A\:to\:complete\:the\:work}\:=\frac{1}{n}

Therefore, If ‘A’ can finish a work in ‘n’ days then part of work finished in 1 day will be \frac{1}{n}.

What are the ratios of sine, cosine, and tangent for angle Y? sin(Y) = StartFraction X Z Over X Y EndFraction; cos(Y) = StartFra
Sholpan [36]

Answer:

\sin Y= \frac{XZ}{XY}

\cos Y= \frac{YZ}{XY}

\tan Y= \frac{XZ}{YZ}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

See attachment for triangle

Required

Find \sin, \cos and \tan of angle Y

For angle Y:

Opposite = XZ

Adjacent = YZ

Hypotenuse = XY

The \sin of an angle is calculated as:

\sin\theta = \frac{Opposite}{Hypotenuse}

So:

\sin Y= \frac{XZ}{XY}

The \cos of an angle is calculated as:

\cos\theta = \frac{Adjacent}{Hypotenuse}

So:

\cos Y= \frac{YZ}{XY}

The \tan of an angle is calculated as:

\tan\theta = \frac{Opposite}{Adjacent}

So:

\tan Y= \frac{XZ}{YZ}
