What does Tom buy myrtle on their way to the apartment

English

Question: What does Tom buy Myrtle on their way to the apartment...?

Answer:

Myrtle herself buys the other things. The only Tom has given her is the puppy and pays for the apartment in the city, where the two of them meet for their affair. This apartment is where they have the party and Tom ends up breaking Myrtle's nose. Nick is introduced to all of this in chapter two.

The puppy in The Great Gatsby is significant in two ways. First, it represents an attempt by Myrtle to solidify and domesticate her adulterous relationship with Tom. ... Later, the puppy plays a larger, more significant role in the novel. He is actually the reason George Wilson discovers his wife's infidelity.

Hope this helps, have a good day. c;

I know its only 1 paragraph and im sorry but:

Shakespeare used personification, metaphor, and symbolism to develop tone in his story of Julius Caesar by showing the selection "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Act I.” Judging from the events in Act I, the political mood and behavior of the Romans is best described as discontented and angry. This is because Julius Caesar has been a successful ruler and conqueror and it made his senators angry and jealous towards him.

FrozenT [24]

a)He believes it is stealthy and all-encompassing.

He describes the fog as being everywhere when he says its on the window-panes, in the drain pools, and "into the corners of the evening". All-encompassing means that it is everywhere, surrounding everything. The way the speaker leaves out any mention of sound or noise makes it seem as though this fog moves quietly. The description of the fog going to the window-panes, the corners, and the pools gives it a quick stealthy feel.
