The elections were narrow and Florida votes were deciding on who the president would be. There was a lot of controversy and recounting and also the fact that Florida governor was Jeb Bush, George's brother, so many naturally accused them of rigging it. It went to the Supreme court and the votes were after a close struggle awarded to George Bush who became the president.

</span><span>Every state is different because of different cultures, beliefs and customs. If a state passes a law that in dispute with a federal law, the federal law is followed. The main aim of Federal government is to be a collective voice for all the states.

If majority of the people think that their views are not represented, people can vote the representative out. The power of Federal Governments has grown because of overreaching, executive orders and abuse. This has extended far beyond the objective of the Founding Fathers.</span>
