Sarah saw them, again. Out of the corner of her eye she could see the kids ganging up on the new girl, Lara. She was late to her

band practice and only had a few minutes to get there. "I barely know her," she muttered to herself as she walked quickly to the car. "I'm sure she can take care of herself." Sarah knew this was an important rehearsal and could not miss it. "Hurry up," shouted her mom from the driver's seat. Sarah threw her guitar in the back seat and slammed the door. "Let's go," she said. As they rounded the corner and stopped at the stop sign—her heart racing—Sarah looked at her mom. "Mom, Lara needs our help. Let's go back."

The answer is "responsibility" because although it had a nmention of music it was not about music. It wasn't said that there was any violence going on and even if there was it only briefly talked about it so that isn't the topic either. Sarah and Lara were not friends in the story so the topic is not likely going to be friendship. That leaves responsibility as the best answer because Sarah was being responsible by helping those who need it.

What type of figurative language is " the dawn of a thousand dreams and thrillS"
olga nikolaevna [1]
I believe the answer to this question would be either a metaphor, idiom, or alliteration. But this would most likely be idiom because people can interpret different meanings of this phrase negative or positive and can take it personally or extensively.
