The native did not understand the settlers( language barrier). another problem was the religion,the settler tough the native Americans could not be trust, because they were not Christians. the problems between them made their time together hell.

The Souths perspective- The South hated the published book Uncle Tom's Cabin due to the fact that it exposed what the slaves had really endured.

This pulled the nations apart because the North would use the book to persuade other people to take action againts the south and help the slaves.
