1. We assume, that the number 80 is 100% - because it's the output value of the task.
2. We assume, that x is the value we are looking for.
3. If 80 is 100%, so we can write it down as 80=100%.
4. We know, that x is 12.5% of the output value, so we can write it down as x=12.5%.
5. Now we have two simple equations:
1) 80=100%
2) x=12.5%
where left sides of both of them have the same units, and both right sides have the same units, so we can do something like that:
80/x=100%/12.5%
6. Now we just have to solve the simple equation, and we will get the solution we are looking for.
7. Solution for what is 12.5% of 80

80/x=100/12.5
(80/x)*x=(100/12.5)*x - we multiply both sides of the equation by x
80=8*x - we divide both sides of the equation by (8) to get x
80/8=x
10=x
x=10

now we have:
12.5% of 80=10

PLEASE HELPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!
sladkih [1.3K]
Given:

Two endpoints of a diameter of a circle:

P (-7, -10)
Q (3, 2)

a) To find the center of the circle, find the midpoint of the two points:

midpoint:

(x2 - x1 )/ 2 , (y2 - y1) / 2

x= (2 - (-7))/2 = 4.5
y= (3 - (-10))/2 = 6.5

Therefore, the center of the circle is at C(4.5, 6.5)

b) To find the radius of the circle, we need to find the distance between the two points and divide by 2.

d = √(y2-y1)^2 + (x2 - x1)^2
d = √(2-(-7))^2 + (3 - (-10))^2
d = 5√10 = diameter
r = d/2 = 5√10 /2
