How were the Black Codes related to the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment?
Yanka [14]

Answer: The position of the multi-million African American population has changed.

Explanation:

Throughout a long part of American history, the African-American population was in a subordinate position, especially in the south of the country where they did slave hard labor and had no rights. That was one of the factors that led to the civil war. Abraham Lincoln proposed adopting amendments that were supposed to solve the problem after the war and bring freedom to African Americans. Lincoln did not experience that historic moment because he was assassinated. Nevertheless, his policy was continued by A. Johnson. In such circumstances, the thirteenth amendment to the United States Constitution was passed, where countries were forced to abide by abolishing slavery. The situation did not improve "overnight," and this was only the beginning of the fight against slavery, given that many states did not immediately implement the law in practice, especially in some parts of the south of the country.

FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

Global temperatures; in the past half-century.

Explanation:

The graph of the global temperatures in the northern hemisphere was more or less costant until it spiked very hard in the past half-century. Therefore, it is called the "hockey stick" chart because its shape resembles a hockey stick. The original graph was made, as the exercise details, by Michael Mann and his colleagues in 1999.

Write a 10 to 15 sentence paragraph describing how your gender may be the reason for the kind of social person you are today. Hi
Naddika [18.5K]

Answer:

As someone who is male, my actions are that of a male and expected of a male. While we live in a gender equal world, there are still gender-roles that we need to fulfill. That means despite being gender-equal, many women still expect me to become a gentleman. And I do it not because I am compelled by gender expectations but because I believe it is the right thing to do. Abiding by what is good and proper has brought me several benefits including being promoted at work. My upbringing as a male person as well has shaped how I behave today. I was told to respect women and other people by my parents, hence that is what I do right now. When someone else, a man or a woman is in need of help, I try to help them the best way I can. But of course, it is not always smooth sailing. There are also hindrances, for example in job placements. There are jobs where only women are allowed. This puts me at a disadvantage because I cannot apply for those jobs, despite me being qualified for them. But either way, whatever happens, I think what is important is mutual respect. Whatever our gender orientations are, if we have respect for each other, then the world will be a better place. Our socials skills need not be defined by our gender roles. So being male, or female should not matter, we are all humans.

I hope it will help you
