Hello!

To find the area of a trapezoid you use the equation

A = \frac{a+b}{2} h

A is area
h is height
a and b are the bases

Put in the values we know

A =  \frac{10+6}{2} *15

Add

A =  \frac{16}{2} *15

Divide

A = 8 * 15

Multiply

A = 120

The answer is 120cm squared

Hope this helps!

Which functions are even? check all the boxes that apply.<br> pls hurry!!
Mkey [24]

If a function is even, it gives the same result for positive and negative inputs such as 8 and -8.

<em>From the choices, the even functions are D and A.</em>

D because the absolute value thing makes any input positive, and A because any number raised to an even power gives a positive result.

For the function g(x)=3x^2-3x-9 what is the value of g(4)
Annette [7]
G(4) = 3x^2 - 3x - 9

Since the g(4) would be g(x) if you didn't know the number. So, substitute all of the x's for 4.

g(4) = 3(4)^2 - 3(4) - 9

g(4) = 3(16) - 12 - 9

g(4) = 48 - 3

g(4) = 45

I hope this helps you!

Let f(x)=4x^2+13x-12 and g(x)=x+4. Perform the function operation <br> F•g(x)<br><br> Please help!!!
ruslelena [56]

Answer: 4x³+29x²+40x-48

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve f(x)·g(x), you multiply them together.

(4x²+13x-12)(x+4)                           [distribute by FOIL]

4x³+16x²+13x²+52x-12x-48          [combine like terms]

4x³+29x²+40x-48

Now, we know that f(x)·g(x)=4x³+29x²+40x-48.
