Health
1 answer:

Answer:

Nutrition is the ability to obtain food which help in the growth of an individual and it is related to mental health in a way because mental health deals with the ability to understand oneself and to cope up with normal lifestyle

Explanation:

If a person has a good nutrition diet such as a balanced meal, that person will have the right amount of energy and cell functionality to help that person function well in terms of mentality and that will increase the chances of an individual to cope better in life rather then a person with bad eating disorder in terms of mental health

How is HIV contracted, and what are the treatment options? (3 points)
kow [346]

Answer:

B). HIV is spread during unprotected sex or through contact with infected blood; it cannot be cured, but early treatment can minimise the long-term consequences.

Explanation:

HIV is an infection that is caused by human immunodeficiency virus. The virus spreads through contact with the infected bodily fluids such as semen, blood or vaginal fluids. Mostly people get infected due to unprotected sexual intercourse which results in transmission of infected bodily fluids during penal-vaginal contact. Another way of transmission of infection involves the sharing of the used needles obtained from the person infected with HIV.

Further explanation:

The HIV infection attacks the immune system of the host body. It destroys the white blood cells of the body, as a result of which body immune system becomes ineffective to fight against the virus. A doctor can diagnose the presence of HIV virus in the bodily fluids by detecting the presence of HIV antibodies in the saliva, urine and blood. As the virus hampers the immune system, the body becomes weak and susceptible to diseases. The late detection cannot save the patient, but earlier detection and confirmation of the condition can help in providing treatment. The antiretroviral therapy slows the rate at which the virus multiplies in the patient body and is a kind of earlier treatment process. The doctor also performs two tests for the routine diagnosis and detection of virus:

Viral load: It is done to show the amount of virus present in the blood.

CD4+ cell count: It gives indication of how well the patient immune system is working to fight against the virus.

Hey, so I have a bad headache and i think it because I'm not dunking water, I'm going to go drink some water and talk something
Mnenie [13.5K]
Hihi I usually get pretty bad headaches as well. Drink your water, lots of it. If you wear glasses, I recommend you drink your water, and then you get in bed and either watch tv (not your phone since its gonna strain your eyes too much), or sleep. If its literally killing you, get a towel, and dip it in cold water, then put it on top of your head. If you dont have a towel, get an icepack and put it on your head (yes ik its crazy).
Also this isnt very healthy but I usually start pulling my hair (not pulling them out ofc) so that I focus on tHaT pain and not on the actual headache. Dont do this tho

Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

Paul's muscular fitness would best be improved through gymnastics.

Explanation:

Gymnastics is an excellent sport that is extremely taxing on the muscular system as it requires the person who performs different gymnastic elements to use all the muscles in their body to be able to actually perform them. For that reason, gymnastics would be the best way of obtaining that.

Which of these are reasonable strategies for enforcing your boundaries in a healthy relationship? Select the two correct answers
Slav-nsk [51]
I would say A and C simply because asking a family member will involve others opinions about your relationship which could throw you off just because they’re not experiencing the relationship one-on-one like you are. And that’s outside factors
