Well! You've got a strong topic, now you just need to get your template down. It's an argumentative essay, so you're going to want an attention-grabbing introduction with your thesis statement. You're going to want body paragraphs that explain both sides of the debate, and then try to convince the reader that your side (the federal gov side) is the best position to take. Wrap it up with a conclusion and voila!

One of your points may be that federal power covers all 50 states, meanwhile state gun laws only govern the individual state. Strict gun laws in Illinois don't matter if it's only a two hour drive to Indiana where they have much looser laws.

In the context of the poem what does blue skin most closely mean? In the story masks
fgiga [73]
This poem is a She Silverstein poem called "The Mask." Silverstein's poems often teach a lesson or explain childhood situations. Often this poem is invoked with a meaning of self-acceptance "be your true self because there are other people just like you, and you'll never know that if everyone conceals their true ways of being." Sometimes, it is invoked to promote people being accepting of others, because we all have a version of metaphorical "blue skin." Taken yet another way, it can even evoke the meaning of shared knowledge or revealing a secret that is concealed. In the end, this poem underscores, self-acceptance, acceptance of others, and shared knowledge: openness in all of its forms. A beautiful poem and meaning.

use any 3 commonly confused words and any 3 past participle forms of verbs to write a news report (PLeASEEE ITS DUE IN A FEW HRS
Dominik [7]

Answer:

Affect/Effect Affect is usually a verb: Chester’s humming affected Posey’s ability to concentrate. Effect is usually a noun: Chester was sorry for the effect his humming had. If you find yourself stumped about which one to use in a sentence, try substituting the word “alter” or “result.” If “alter” fits (Chester’s humming altered Posey’s ability to concentrate), use affect. If “result” fits (Chester was sorry for the result his humming had), use effect.

Their/There/They’re Their is the possessive form of “they”: Chester and Posey took their time. There indicates a place: It took them an hour to get there. They’re is a contraction of “they are”: Are Chester and Posey coming? They’re almost here.

Farther/Further Farther refers to physical distance: Posey can run farther than Chester. Further refers to metaphorical distance: Chester is further away from finishing his project than Posey is.

Explanation: hope this helps
