Answer: Non verbal

Explanation:

Having people from different states and environment can pose a communication bridge. Many communities have their language and way of communicating and doing things. These languages can be referred to as dialects variations and jargons. Therefore it is not strange or unusual that Tucker refers to all side drinks as coke because where he is coming from everyone there would understand what he means.

However Glen from new Jersey is not used to referring to every soft drink as coke because where he comes from every soft drink is referred to by it's name.

Miscommunication arises when individuals from different backgrounds fail to understand the message or symbols in the message. As communication can be both symbolic and verbal.

Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

He goes on to emphasize the severity of the pain and suffering that these masks try to cover up ;by the end we understand that all of the politeness and subdued emotions are just phony disguises of the painful truths that hide behind them. And those masks certainly aren't doing anyone any favors.
