"You do not rise to the level of your goals. you fall to the level of your systems" is one famous quote by James Clear on goals and systems.

Explanation:

People mainly talk about setting goals to achieve an objective, but setting goals does not necessarily lead to a success in achieving the objective. One might succeed in few goals that are laid out , but be unsuccessful in others.

The results that one gets, have very little to do with the goals, and everything with the system that one follows.

For example: the goal of a businessman would be, to be very successful in his business and earn billions of dollars. But, he has to use the right system to do so.

Hiring the right kind of employee, the right advertisement campaigns etc is the system by which he can reach his goals. Thus, only setting goals should not be given priority, but priority should be given to the systems that help in achieving the goal.

In “The Story of an Hour” by Kate Chopin, which adjective best describes Mrs. Mallard?
igor_vitrenko [27]

In “The Story of an Hour” by Kate Chopin, adjective what best describes Mrs. Mallard is repressed.

Kate Chopin describe Mrs. Mallard as "Young, with a fair, calm face, whose lines bespoke repression and even a certain strength." The lines on the face of Mrs. Mallard is described to indicate that she keeps many things inside her repressed. Mrs. Mallard doesn't give her feelings a free reign. Also, suffering from medical conditions, she puts her life to threat. We learn that she due to her marriage sufferings and is not optimistic about her married life. We learn this when she wishes for her life to be short, a night before the death of her husband. as an option to marriage, she would welcome her death gladly.

When Josephine inform Mrs. Mallard about the death of her husband we tend to observe her first reaction where she weeps into her sister’s arm and was hard to take. “She wept at once, with sudden, wild abandonment, in her sister’s arms.” In such grief she rushes off to her room to be alone, later it is observed that “But now there was a dull stare in her eyes, whose gaze was fixed away off yonder on one of those patches of blue sky. It was not a glance of reflection, but rather indicated a suspension of intelligent thought.” And the reader sees something coming to her and speaks softly “free, free, free!.” This situation can be dramatic as only the reader knows the real feeling of Mrs. Mallard. On the other hand, other characters are not aware of her real feelings. She celebrates it and by the end, she is dead with a heartbreak, wherein, her husband receives the news of Louise's death.

5. Analyze the claim the author makes about distracted teenage behaviors and evaluate whether the evidence used to support this
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

After realizing a trial with green and red circles, where the participants had to find a correct target in order to obtain a reward, Zachary Rooper and his team announced that the attention of adolescents is related to rewarding information.

Once the teenage brain has linked a behavior to that reward, it continues to seek the reward again and again. That’s why teens are likely to opt for the reward of social media when they should be studying. Or why they respond to texts while driving.

Explanation:

This evidence cannot be sufficient to support his statement that teenage brains are constantly seeking to reward. Teenage distractions and lack of attention could be related to their studying habits and their interests, not with the rewards they are expecting from social media websites. Although the rewarding system can motivate middle school and high school students, it should not be related to another habit in their life. It's true that many parents reward their children for achieving good results at school, but their concentration is also related to their personality, study habits, etc.

Therefore, Rooper's statement could be partially applied to the teenage population, but it shouldn't determine their behavior, as some of these behaviors are related to their age and the essential period of their development.

Can someone help me write an argumentative essay on whether is it ok to lie? it has to have a Hook, and introduction, a three bo
Genrish500 [490]

introduction: this is my essay on arguing on how lying is bad. lying is horrible. if you disagree than its ok everyone has a opinion.

body 1: lying can hurt people around you, if you lie to someone about them being pretty they will know you are lying and it will hurt them. lying can hurt many people about many different things.

body 2: sometimes lying can be good it can stop you from hurting people. for example if someone says you are doing great in a video game and you still haven't beat level 1 and its been an hour, they are lying to make you think you can do it then all of a sudden you beat the level.

body 3: lying can also sometimes hurt you. like when you lie about an essay and say you did it, it can make you have an f on your grade. and you may get expelled

conclusion: lying is more bad then good. 1 time it helps, the other 2 it hurts. this is my opinion and its always different depending on the person.
