I disagree because if he has a criminal record then how do we know we can trust him. Like it says in the paragraph the president bailed him out of jail he didn't serve all f his years in jail. So, think about it how do we know we can trust him if he already has a criminal record.

Answer:

I Disagree

Explanation:

To bribe someone is a serious offense, as is mail fraud and improper use of funds. I view people who steal money away from a noble cause very poorly. Plus, if Hoffa had stayed behind bars, he might still be alive right now. Nixon most likely commuted his sentence because of a political reason that would help Nixon stay in office longer. Since Nixon was later found out to be a criminal, I feel like if he commuted someone, then that person was likely just as bad as him.

The trial of the Scottsboro Boys was one outstanding example of civil rights awareness during an otherwise bleak time of
Tasya [4]

Answer: False

Explanation:

The trial of the Scottsboro Boys serves as an example of a botched or ill performed trial, mainly due to the fact that those who were tried were black adolesents against a white jury, court and prosecutors. Though the trial was later proved to be ill conducted and the 9 teenagers pardoned when their innocence came to light, at the time extensive appeals and new trials were required to prevent them from being sentenced to death for the false acusation of raping two white women.

Why did the Framers of the Constitution want to include checks and balances in the federal government?
Margarita [4]
Because that way, every one can see what the person is doing, his records, and stuff like that.
also, so that the person would not be lying to the court, they would know for sure, what and where this all happened.
