I’m pretty sure the answer is A because carbon dioxide causes a solution to turn yellow and a solution that indicates no carbon dioxide would be blue instead of green.

read the passage to answer the question.even though scorpions are related to spiders, there are many differences between the two
Gennadij [26K]

Scorpion cells undergo aerobic respiration, during aerobic respiration oxygen is used, and ATP is created.

During aerobic cellular respiration, glucose is absorbed with oxygen to form ATP, which can be used by cells. Carbon dioxide and air are formed as by-products. The overall extension to aerobic cellular respiration is: During cellular respiration, glucose and oxygen form ATP.

This process takes place in the mitochondria. So respiration occurs in animals and plants because both have mitochondria.

Aerobic respiration is respiration that requires oxygen while anaerobic respiration is respiration that does not require oxygen. Aerobic respiration consists of several stages, namely: glycolysis, oxidative decarboxylation, Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain which have been discussed in the previous material.

A dog breathes out CO2 and a tree releases O2. How are the dog and the tree connected in the oxygen cycle?
Hitman42 [59]
A dog breathes in oxygen and then releases carbon dioxide when he exhales. Conversely, a tree gives off oxygen and takes in carbon dioxide. So the breath of the dog sustains the tree while the output of oxygen for the tree sustains the dog.

What is the difference between DNA, chromatin, and Chromosomes?
Serhud [2]
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the hereditary material that lies within the nucleus of all cells in humans and other living organisms. Most of the DNA is placed within the nucleus and is called nuclear DNA.

A chromosome is made up of two chromatids which are joined by the centromere. The chromatids separate from each other during mitosis to form two new chromosomes. The DNA making up a chromosome is dispersed as chromatin.

Under a microscope, chromatids look like little dots and chromosomes are lines.

If the rice already had the genes that could make vitamin A, why did scientists use genes from other organisms?
meriva

Answer:

A. The rice genes didn't make the right type of vitamin A.

Explanation:

Regular white rice does not have the gene to produce beta carotene. The human body converts the beta carotene into vitamin A.

To increase the nutritional value of rice, the gene for beta carotene from daffodil flowers was inserted into the cells of endosperm of rice.

This allowed these cells of the genetically engineered rice varieties to produce beta carotene. Production of beta carotene imparted golden color to the rice grain and hence, the name.
