The widely Republican Senate brought their focus on obtaining African American voters by giving them political power and rights within the South. They felt anger and betrayal from the Southerners who seceded from the Union, and therefore did little to help them during Reconstruction. On top of  that, hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, forced military occupation into the South more than any other type of economic assistance. At the point of the end of Reconstruction, little was accomplished to not only help rebuild the South, but also give African Americans the rights given to them by the end of the Civil War as well as throughout Reconstruction.

How did Acts like the Great Compromise, Compromise of 1850, Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 and the Fugitive Slave Act lead to the C
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

These acts made up slaves as dispensable, things, and not people.

Explanation:

Things like the Great Compromise would take slaves and make them count as lesser beings, and not as people. It's clear that people didn't like seeing these other people being treated as if they were nothing more than objects.

How did the Zhou Dynasty use religion to justify overthrowing the Shang Dynasty?
xz_007 [3.2K]
The Zhou Dynasty used the notion of the Mandate of Heaven to defend the overthrow of the Shang Dynasty. The "Mandate of Heaven" is an earliest Chinese philosophical concept, which was created during the Zhou Dynasty(1046-256 BCE). The Mandate of Heaven decides whether a ruler of China is satisfactorily righteous to lead; if he does not accomplish his responsibilities as an emperor, then he fails the Mandate and thus the right to be emperor.  Zhou leaders appealed that the Shang emperors had become fraudulent and unfit, so Heaven commanded their removal.
