Answer:

Glinda - the good witch is like a mother to her, caring for her along the way. Guiding her but allowing her to make decisions on her own and to learn from her own mistakes.

Tin-Man - He had a very big heart even though he really never had literal heart. He was good and compassionate and had been this way all along, but he never could realize his potential to love.

Lion - He was afraid, just like Dorothy was afraid. She encouraged him to have courage - and at the same time, she encouraged herself.

Scarecrow - he was good and kind and knew that he did not want to spend his life scaring people. He wanted to have friends and to be loving to others. D helped him realize his potential of being kind and good and loving along the way and she learned her own ability to love and to be loved.

You have to remember that these "people" were searching for something all along the way and in reality they had these special characteristics all along. You could assume that they had to go through turmoil and hard times to literally see the good - but, they had the ability all along to love, be smart, and to not be afraid.

It is also cool to note that the wizard was really not a wizard in his own eyes. He also felt that he could not measure up to what was expected of him. He had this idea that he had to be great, powerful, scary, and rule with an iron hand. He did not. He realized that he could help others by just being himself and being good.

There is good in everyone :) We just have to find it.

One of the most important relationships I think are overlooked in The Wizard Of Oz are Toto and Dorthy! I think this relationship is so important because Toto was able to keep Dorthy calm when she was wondering through Oz alone at first. He was always by her side to calm her like a good puppy! I don’t have access to real text from the book but this is the best I have for you and hopes it helps!

According to "The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain," one powerful way that the standard of whiteness affects African America
Olegator [25]

The correct option is 4).According to "The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain," one powerful way that the standard of whiteness affects African Americans is through the unconscious.

"The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain" was written in 1926 by Langston Hughes who was a poet. He wrote it for the Nation Magazine.

In this short essay, the author suggested black people stop duplicating what white people do. Instead, he recommended not to feel ashamed but extremely proud of their skin color because that way they would be able to accomplish many great things.
