There are 2.54 cm in 1 inch. they are 100 cm in 1 m, to the nearest meter, how many meters are in 474 inches
zlopas [31]

Multiply total meters by 100 to get total centimeters:

6 meters x 100 = 600 centimeters.

Now divide total centimeters by 2.554 to get total inches:

600 centimeters / 2.54 = 236.22 inches.

Rounded to the nearest inch = 236 inches.

Is -2t^2+3t+4 in standard form
Paul [167]

Answer:

-2t^2+3t+4 or -2t^2+3t^1+4t^0

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation is already written in standard form.

You write the largest exponents to the left and the smallest to the right.

<u>Your expression: </u>-2t^2+3t+4<u> can also be expressed as this below:</u>

-2t^2+3t^1+4t^0

t to the first power means mutiplying by t

t to the 0 power mean mutiplying by 1 or basically you get the same result

If t was 2...

3t= 3(2)=6\\3t^1=3(2)^1=3(2)=6

Same result:

4=4\\4t^0=4(2)^0=4(1)=4\\

Answer: 4 cups of milk

=============================

Work Shown:

2 & 1/2 = 2 + 1/2 = 2+0.5 = 2.5

2.5 cups of milk makes 5 servings

x cups of milk makes 8 servings

Divide the cups of milk over the servings to get this proportion

2.5/5 = x/8

Cross multiply and solve for x

2.5/5 = x/8

2.5*8 = 5*x

20 = 5*x

5*x = 20

x = 20/5

x = 4

You need 4 cups of milk to make 8 servings
