Answer:

Paul.

Explanation:

Paul would have the higher basal metabolic rate.

The basal metabolic rate is the rate expenditure of energy in a certain time while is in rest. Also, metabolism refers to all processes that allow a good functioning of the body, all chemical reactions and transformations that provides energy.

It's important to know that the metabolism has its own speed, some people could have a fast metabolism and other a slow metabolism, which refers to the speed of transforming the food in energy.

So, in this case, the young guy, Paul, is gonna have a higher basal metabolic rate, due to his age and his physical activities as a athlete, his body will just consume more energy at rest and during exercises.

xxTIMURxx [149]
Hello there!

You should never leave cooked products near raw products as this can cause cross-contamination. If this happens, you could get food poisoning or even salmonella.

One drug that is important for 7th graders to know about in my opinion, would be marijuana since it is the most easiest to obtain. It is commonly sold on the streets and easy to get away with. Marijuana damages the hippocampus. The hippocampus is the part of the brain that is responsible for controlling emotions, memory, and the automatic nervous system. Long-term effects would be bronchitis, pneumonia, respiratory problems, and problems with the kidneys and liver. People may choose to smoke marijuana to help with their issues or as a form of relaxation. Many claim it helps with anxiety and depression. Some choose not to participate in drug activities so they can have a healthy body. The title of my presentation would be informational yet catching, I may title it something like “The Truth Behind Drugs”, “What Does Marijuana Actually Do”, “Why You Should Avoid Highs”.

Hope this helps.
