The unit rate meant the slope, which is represented by m in y=mx+b
First we must isolate the y by dividing both sides by -1 to get:
y=-x/7 or y=(-1/7)x, so the the unit rate is -1/7 or B

Hope this helps :)

Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

(I can't figure out number one)

2. 7 1/2 feet below sea level or -7 1/2 feet

3. It would stop on the 17th floorl

Step-by-step explanation:

2. You subtract 20 1/2 by 28 to get your answer. Flipped around, 28 - 20 1/2 is 7 1/2 so back to the right way would be -7 1/2 or 7 1/2 feet below sea level.

3. 23 + 5 = 28

28 - 14 = 14

14 + 3 = 17

So the 17th floor would be the answer.

(7) The stadium would need to be filled 11 times. This is because the stadium holds almost 100,000 people, so 10 would not be enough. Of course, 10*100,000 is 1,000,000.
(8)It would take Stacy 6,000 minutes to count to 1,000,000 is she remained at the constant rate. You can find this by dividing 1,000,000 by 1,000 to see how many 1,000s it will take to get to 1,000,000. Then, you can multiply that by 6 since each 1,000 takes 6 minutes. This yields a result of 6,000 minutes.
(9) The manager has exactly enough money to buy 100 cars for a price of 10,000 each. You can find this answer by simply multiplying 100 and 10,000 and seeing that it is less than or equal to 1,000,000.
