Answer:

a) The number of possible codes is 16384

b) The probability of entering the code on the firs ttry is 1/16384

Step-by-step explanation:

a) For each of the four digits we have 7 possibilities and the number of one digit doesnt make restrictions on the others, thus, we have to power 4 a total of 7 times. The number of codes available is 4⁷ = 16384

b) There is only 1 code favourable over a total of 16384, as a consequence, the probability of enter the code correctly is 1/16384

Answer:

11

Step-by-step explanation:

The number inside the square root symbol is the number you have to get when you multiply a certain number twice.

So \sqrt{121} :

What multiplied by itself is 121?

Backwards equation:

121 / 11

==> 11

Do not do the backwards method all the times, it does not work for all numbers.

Rewrite the following equation in standard form.<br> y = -7x - 1
Lady bird [3.3K]

Standard form is written Ax + By = C where A, B, and C are all integers.

In other words, no fractions.

Also, the A or the coefficient of the x term must be positive.

The only thing we need to do is add 7x to both sides to get 7x + y = -1.

So 7x + y = -1 is our answer.

2. Draw the image of ∆RST under the dilation with scale factor ⅓ and center of dilation at the origin. Label the image ∆R’S’T’.
Alchen [17]
Since center of dilation is the origin, this is easy. Just divide all of the x and y coordinate values by 3. Place the new point on the graph, and draw the triangle.

R' = R(3,6)/3 = (3/3,6/3)=(1,2). So R'(1,2)
S' = S(-3,6)/3 = (-3/3,6/3)=(-1,2). So S'(-1,2)
T' = T(-6,-6)/3 = (-6/3,-6/3)=(-2,-2). So T'(-2,-2)

So you now know the location of the 3 new points. R' at (1,2), S' at (-1,2) and T' at (-2,-2). Simply draw those 3 points on your graph and connect the lines to make a new triangle.
