The Soviet Union, in a similar fashion as the United States, had its satellite states. The satellite states of the Soviet Union were located in Eastern and Central Europe, and they served as a protection shield from the West. The nations that were satellite states to the Soviets were East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria. These states formed a nice barrier for the Soviets from the West, and they were perfectly aligned from the North Sea, down to the border with Greece and Turkey. It has to be mentioned though that the majority of the people in these countries were not very fond of being under the control of the communists, but lot of force was used against them to frighten them and oppress them, so ti took a lot of time for these nations to get free from the communist.
The Open Door Policy is a term in foreign affairs initially used to refer to the United States policy established in the late 19th century and the early 20th century, as enunciated in Secretary of State John Hay's Open Door Note, dated September 6, 1899 and dispatched to the major European powers.
I think the most permanent impact of communist revolution would be the unity Forces that Mao Zedong Created. With the Revolution , somehow he managed to convince the people that communism held so much power than nationalism, which lead to the communist system that led China as we seen today
The Christian Church had served and provided social services for the people. It was a part of the change for the western countries. It has played a role in culture, politics, and religion. It also gave influence of Christian celebrations such as Christmas and some Christian events. It also helped in establishing schools and preserving philosophies centuries old. It had been a proponent to give deeper value on humanism, morality and family orientation, which is mostly preserved by the Christian Church.
