Explanation:

In this activity we have to make a sentence that matches the original one, using the verb estar with an emotion or condition from the list to express how the people are doing or feeling.

The list of adjectives is:

cansado/a (tired)

contento/a (happy)

enamorado/a (in love)

equivocado/a (wrong)

nervioso/a (nervous)

seguro/a (sure)

In Spanish, the verb estar has many different uses, in general is used to indicate temporary states and location. More specifically, is used to describe Position, Location, Action, Condition and Emotion. In this activity we are looking at the use of estar to describe physical and mental conditions, and emotions.

The sentences in English are:

- Vicente and Monica are tired.

- We are wrong.

- The passenger is nervous.

- Paloma is in love with her boyfriend.

- Irene´s grandparents are happy.

- I´m not sure if the exam will be easy or hard.
