Cotton Mather (February 12,1663- February 13,1728) was a new england puritan minister, prolific author, and pamphleteer. He left a scientific legacy due to his hybridization experiment and his promotion of inoculation for disease prevention, though his most frequently remembered today for his involvement in the Salem witch trails.
The colonists started to resist by boycotting, or not buying, British goods. In 1773 colonists <em>dressed</em> as American indians to raid british ships, but the actual American indians did not raid the ships.
