Both The Homestead and Pullman strikes were similar because of deep issues such as the very bad conditions of the workers in both places.  The feeling was that they worked for too long hours in poor conditions.  It is trying to pressure the companies to better these conditions and wages that both strikes took place.

Answer:  Sargon's

Sargon's soldiers defeated all the city- states of Sumer. They also conquered northern Mesopotamia, finally bring- ing the entire region under his rule.

Explanation:The army of Sargon defeated all the city-states of Sumer and conquered northern Mesopotamia.

The Mesopotamia was the reign of Sargon of Akkad from 2334 to 2279 BCE. In fact, his reign constituted the first ancient multi-national empire of Mesopotamia.

Sargon also conquered parts of Syria, Anatolia, and Elam (western Iran).  The region of the Mesopotamia includes the area that is now eastern Syria, southeastern Turkey, and most of Iraq. Its name derives from a Greek word meaning “between rivers,” which makes reference to the land between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

What contributed to divisions within the Democratic Party after the first statewide election?
ohaa [14]

Answer:

C. Elected officials tried to help supporters from various backgrounds.

Explanation:

Even though they had a good intention, this effort caused a problem for the party. In order to help the people from different backgrounds, the government sometimes had to sacrifice the interest of other people

For example, The railroad company's wanted the government to lower taxes to increase their income. The farmers on the other hand wanted the government to increase taxes from these companies so they can fund public instrastructure. Helping one group of supporters in such case will sacrifice the interest of other group. This eventually caused a division In democratic party. They can't decide on which groups should be prioritized first.
