Its about 4.6667. The reasoning for that is, you divide the amount of sandwiches and the amount of tuna ones. Which gets you 1.2857 i believe. then you divide the amount that the mouses nibbled by the tuna ones. Your welcome

Answer:

(a) The range of the function represents the set of values on the y-axis. We see that function has an absolute maximum, then the range of the function is:

Ran\{f(x)\} = (-\infty, 4]

(b) The location of the maximum is represented by its ordered pair. After direct observation, we located this maximum at (x, f(x)) = (-1.3, 4)

(c) By direct observation we find that the value of y when x = 1.5 is -12.

(d) By direct observation we conclude that the values of x when y = -20 are -4.8 and 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

(a) The range of the function represents the set of values on the y-axis. We see that function has an absolute maximum, then the range of the function is:

Ran\{f(x)\} = (-\infty, 4]

(b) The location of the maximum is represented by its ordered pair. After direct observation, we located this maximum at (x, f(x)) = (-1.3, 4)

(c) By direct observation we find that the value of y when x = 1.5 is -12.

(d) By direct observation we conclude that the values of x when y = -20 are -4.8 and 2.
