Faster mail delivery was made possible by railroads.

The construction of railroads made it possible for a lot of cities to be connected. This led to mails being delivered through trains and deliveries were dropped on each city that the trains passed by. This allowed people to receive their mails a lot faster compared in the past.

What had the war created for women that made it hard for them to settle back into the roles of motherhood following the war?
mr Goodwill [35]
World War II had made it hard for women to settle back into their roles of motherhood because they had started to work jobs. Women also had to take over and act as the fatherly figure because the men were fighting in the war. After the war, most women did not get to keep their jobs, and was odd for them to only play the role of the mother in families.

Your answer is: Jobs, becoming the head of the household
