The conflict develops because bride (Nene) wants her fience (Nmaemeka) to inform his father about their wedding as soon as possible. Nmaemeka  afraids that his father will be against their wedding, because in his tribe the person has to marry only that one approved or chosen by the tribe. The reason of his thoughts is a letter that he received from his father where he informs that has already found a bride for his son. Also Nene is from another tribe which is unnaceptable for his father.
